Advocacy

The Kansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association advocates in the legislature and with regulatory agencies for the rights and protection of speech-language pathologists and audiologists and the consumers we serve.

Annually in the state of Kansas, legislation is enacted that significantly impacts members of our profession as well as individuals with speech, language and hearing disorders. Visit this site regularly for updates and calls to action.

Your membership in KSHA supports our legislative efforts. KSHA engages with a lobbying firm to monitor activities on the Hill that have the potential to impact our professions and/or our consumers.
